Matthew Pearce has been making furniture for over 15 years and builds each piece with the utmost care and attention to detail. All pine peg rails and coat racks in this section are handmade from solid pine and are ideal for hanging all those coats, hats and untidy items which are normally left lying around. There are various finishes to choose from - bare wood which you can stain, wax or paint as you wish, pine finished with an antique stain and then waxed, reclaimed pine with a waxed finish or pine hand painted in traditional Farrow & Ball colours. Reclaimed pine has a unique character and as it is old wood, no trees are cut down to produce it. Matthew also offers a coat rack in reclaimed oak and a peg rail in new oak with an oiled finish, as an alternative to his pine range.
